Cody Barilla is Terrain’s grain and oilseed analyst, focusing on commodities important to the Plains, such as wheat, grain sorghum, sunflowers, cotton and canola. Previously a real estate and chattel appraiser for American AgCredit, Cody is also a Kansas certified general real estate appraiser. He understands the challenges facing Plains farmers because he is one. His irrigated and dryland operation in south-central Kansas produces corn, soybeans, wheat, grain sorghum and cotton.

Cody is currently enrolled in Kansas State University’s Master of Agribusiness program.
